Inspired by the native desert landscape surrounding Artista Pools® here in Arizona, this sculptural water feature celebrates one of the Southwest’s most iconic symbols — the saguaro cactus. Designed to be as functional as it is eye-catching, water flows across the integrated front lip and fans outward into a smooth, elegant sheet before cascading into the pool below.

Available in a choice of Artista Pools® standard metallic finishes. Pictured is our rich metallic bronze. The dimensional cactus design makes a striking accent for modern, Southwestern, desert, tropical, and resort-style pools.

Each Saguaro Cactus Spillway is crafted from our proprietary high-performance photopolymer resin blend, designed for outstanding durability, extreme heat tolerance, and superior UV and chemical resistance. After forming, each piece is precision-machined and surface-refined, then hand-finished with a premium metallic paint engineered to capture the depth and luster of real metal—without the weight, corrosion, or maintenance concerns. Multiple layers of marine-grade urethane are applied to create a rich, long-lasting finish designed to withstand sun exposure, chlorinated water, and continuous flow.

Each spillway is individually produced and hand-finished by Artista Pools®, so slight variations may occur from piece to piece.

INSTALLATION

The rear of the spillway includes a 1.5″ female threaded inlet for connection to your water supply and two mounting holes for securing the unit to the wall.

Includes mounting screws and a 1.5″ MPT × 1.5″ spigot adapter for convenient installation.

For best performance, we recommend installing a dedicated flow-control valve for each spillway. This allows the water flow to be adjusted until the desired sheet and fan pattern is achieved.

Professional installation is recommended when integrating the spillway into new or existing pool plumbing.

Because each piece is individually produced and hand-finished, minor variations in surface texture and finish are normal and make each spillway unique.

Water appearance will vary depending on water pressure, flow rate, installation height, and plumbing configuration.
